WARNING! If any of you are reading this in the Reich of Missouri do not download it or save it to your computer and be sure to delete your browsing history. The Gestapo in training is coming for you.
Now, before anyone starts saying that I think Barack Obama is another Adolph Hitler, it isn’t so. Adolph would not like either Barack or his political agenda and I am confident that Hitler would represent Obama’s worst nightmare.
On the other hand, Obama’s campaign techniques bear a striking resemblance to those of der Fuhrer. To begin with it is an intensely personality-driven campaign. Obama speaks in grand generalities promising people who are disgusted with the present administration that he will make changes. Well, Hitler made changes too. When I hear people chanting the name of Obama, when little children are taught to sing sweet songs about him, when young men march in fatigues, declaring the virtues of Obama, when I see women swooning and hear political commentators getting leg tingles I can’t help but think of how the power of an individual’s personality is the primary weapon in the political arsenal of demagogues and dictators. Hitler, Mao, Castro, Kim Jong-il, any dictator you care to name, they all had their tingle-legged propagandists and sweet singing children. AND THEY ALL HAD THEIR MARCHING YOUNG MEN. Like Jim Jones, they all had Kool-Aid drinkers who trusted them to their death.
When the supporters of Obama begin committing acts of petty terrorism, when Democrats make subtle threats of riots to come if he isn’t elected, I begin to be afraid. When the candidate surrounds himself with radical elements whose stated agenda is the overthrow of our system of government, I begin to be afraid. When he submits himself and his family to the teachings of an avowed enemy of America and the white race, I begin to be afraid – is whitey to be the scapegoat of this new tyranny? Whitey is certainly the scapegoat in the world-view proclaimed from the pulpit of Jeremiah Wright. How Naziesque!
The tactics of the Obama Nazis is most clearly revealed in the personal attacks launched against Governor Sarah Palin. The follow up comes with the attacks made against a citizen named Joe who dared to ask the anointed leader (‘leader’ is English for ‘Fuhrer’) a question about his tax program. The question was innocent enough, but the answer was dangerously revealing – an answer that slipped past the ordinarily disciplined lips of the one who (in the words of the children’s song) “gonna lead us.”
There is no question that Obama has done his best to keep his inner self hidden from us. He has, wherever possible, avoided taking positions. He votes ‘present’ whenever he can get away with it. He took a long time to tell us where he personally stands on the crisis in the banking industry. We are asked to trust him, trust his judgment without any foundation for that trust. Jim Jones told his people “trust me.” Hitler and Lenin demanded that people trust them.
Hitler would not have succeeded had Germany not been in a crisis. People in crisis tend to be like a person gone overboard in high seas; they thrash around for anything that will keep them afloat. Sometimes they grab something that is slowly becoming waterlogged and that will soon drag them inexorably to the bottom. How many of the German people who, in the midst of crisis, cast their vote for Adolph Hitler, lived to wish with utter intensity they had sought some other response to their crisis. Any other response in the wide world.
The last straw for me came when the minions of Obama began to threaten people who dare to speak out against him. There has been social intimidation by those who have characterized every criticism of him as racist. Now there is intimidation by law enforcement people in the state of Missouri. They have deliberately, in the most blatantly anti-American, anti-democratic, anti-civil rights, anti-populist, anti-Bill of Rights manner, used threatening terms to intimidate people within their jurisdiction. They use words typical to the arrest and prosecution of criminals to threaten their fellow Americans who, for the time being at least, live under the same Constitutional freedoms that they do. They are saying to you and me and all of our fellow free Americans, “you dare not speak against THE ONE in this state of Missouri, lest the Gestapo come and get you.”
In his speeches Obama has said the Republicans would say he is scary and that he is black. I guess he thought no one had noticed he’s black. The fact is we don’t care – it is he that cares.
Obama deliberately links something that might sound racist to the idea that he is scary so that both accusations would seem racist. But his own pastor revealed that Obama himself is steeped in the racism of black liberation theology. It is he who cares about his racial identity, not I, not most Republicans, not any fair minded American. What we do care about is that he is scary – very, very scary.
I have to stop now; I hear the gravel in my driveway crunching beneath the heels of jackboots.

IT'S STUPID; SOCIALISM
Barack Obama revealed a part of his agenda over the weekend when he told a small businessman that he wasn’t trying to punish his success he was just trying to redistribute his wealth to give others a chance. (He said this to a man who made his own chances in this free society of unlimited opportunity.)
This follows on a recent Biden interview with Katie Couric in which Joey said plainly that he and Barack would take the money of the upper class. He said this was patriotism. Those who have enjoyed some success in their lives, generally through a great deal of hard work and risk taking, are now judged unpatriotic if they don’t turn their pockets out so politicians can promise the lazy and unambitious can have a lifestyle comparable to theirs - of course the politicians never deliver on those promises, they just take the money.
It has reached the point where Obama’s spokespeople aren’t even denying his socialist intentions – of course they don’t yet call it socialism; they are experts at newspeak and doublespeak. Bob Beckel on Fox News today said that Obama will redistribute the wealth and that economic redistribution is part of his plan. He said plainly that Obama will take the wealth of the successful to fulfill his agenda. Beckel denies that this is socialism, but that's only because he is so steeped in Democrat ideology that he no longer recognizes socialism when it hits him in the face. He said that he’s just a football player, indicating that he shouldn’t be expected to understand economics. He sure doesn’t. You can call a dog a duck, but he ain’t gonna quack. Whatever you call socialism it is still socialism.
So what’s the problem with socialism? That’s a good question. The answer is simple – show me a socialist economy that succeeds. The more socialist the economy becomes the more it fails. Ask the Russians, ask the Chinese. They have learned that capitalism succeeds where socialism fails. Ask the people of these countries how blessed the poor were under their socialist systems and how much things have improved (and they still have a long, long way to go) since they embraced capitalism.
In our capitalist system we have ups and downs. Recessions and depressions have always happened just as booms and times of high prosperity have. It’s kind of manic-depressive – the highs are temporary and so are the lows. Socialist systems eliminate these ups and downs and the uncertainty they produce. They do this by substituting chronic depression for the manic-depressive system. Thus they eliminate the ability of the wise and prudent to prosper in the highs and prepare for the lows. Everyone is equally poor all the time. (Except, of course there are always those who are more equal than others – see George Orwell’s Animal Farm.)
It may not be the most pleasant fact, but the fact is that people of all classes do better when there is a wealth incentive to produce products, innovations, and ultimately – jobs. I know there is the dream of a classless society, but it simply isn’t going to happen and all the social experiments in that direction prove that one may as well try to square the circle (it’s a mathematical impossibility, but there are always a few dolts who try to do it anyway). On the other hand, there is a vast difference in the standard of living of the very lowest class in our capitalist society and that of communist or socialist countries. In case anyone doesn't understand, socialism is just communism's little brother, and he'll grow up some day.
Obama and his fellow Democrat/socialists have been told by the American people for very long time, that our economy isn’t broken so don’t fix it. They have set out to break it so we will think we need them to fix it. Fixing it, they will bring us change – change I dread. For the sake of our brothers and sisters, for the sake of our children and posterity yet unborn, we must throw out the socialists whether they claim Democrat or Republican identity. We must find, promote, and elect, people who respect our free society and the capitalist system that has made it free and prosperous beyond the dreams of most people in all of human history.

Inquest for the Undead
Ladies and gentlemen, we have been called together to conduct an inquiry into the death of American capitalism. As you can see we have a clear chalk outline on the floor of Congress where the decedent was found.
The witnesses have been sworn and will now give their testimony. Mr. President, you may go first. What’s that you say? You believe it was a case of accidental death. Ah, I see by the deposition you have submitted that the Secretary of the Treasury and you have agreed that this was a totally unforeseen and unforeseeable set of circumstances. The fact that the victim was teetering on the edge of a cliff while a boulder was about to fall on him and a freight train and a Mac truck were heading in his direction at breakneck speed were not sufficient indicators that mischief might befall him.
One question Mr. President, why has the Vice President not been at your side through this ordeal? Is he not a skilled businessman, who might have had valuable ideas to avoid the unfortunate incident – even to have saved the victim in the last minutes? An undisclosed location you say? Why did you feel it necessary to send him into hiding at this time? Oh! I see, he didn’t disclose his location to you either. What’s that? The FBI, Secret Service, US Marshals and Dog the Bounty Hunter? None of these could find him? Very well, you may step down – and I mean that sincerely Mr. President, please step down.
Now, you congressional leaders. What testimony do you have to give? Mr. Minority leader, you may go first. Murder you say! That’s a serious accusation. You know the culprit? The chairman of the house banking committee? Are you sure? And the head of the senate banking committee as well? Oh my. These gentlemen are members of the Democrat party, they’ve been entrusted with the wellbeing of the credit industry for the past two years. You can’t mean that the very ones who were to protect the economy colluded in the felonious dispatch of same?
I must allow these gentlemen to speak in their own defense. Gentlemen, you have sworn to tell the truth, and no matter how contrary to your deeply ingrained principles that may be, I implore you to consider the gravity of the situation and make an exception in the present case. Ah! You agree with the Republicans, it was indeed murder. Do you then confess? Please gentlemen, compose yourselves! I merely thought you were acknowledging the deed. What then is the evidence against these men?
You saw what? The speaker of the house opening a secret compartment in her ring and pouring a powder into the victim’s martini? Her real name is Borgia? That explains a great many things. The matter should be refered to a special prosecutor.
But what about these two? I see. One held the glass and the other delivered the draught to the victim. So what say you Madame Speaker? On advice of counsel? No Ma’am that’s the fifth amendment – very well, please step down. Then what of you other two? You have already agreed that the deed was murder.
Oh, I see. You agree that it was murder, but you accuse the Republicans. Death by lack of regulation, you say. But I have here a very long list of regulations that should have protected the system, why were more needed? Oh no gentlemen, oversight was your responsibility. You don’t know the difference between regulation and oversight? Is that why every time someone shoots somebody you call for more restrictions on firearms and less prosecution of the crimes already committed. Really gentlemen, you ought to go back to law school and you should try to pass the bar. Yes, the one at the end of the street, it is clouding your judgment.
I must admit you are making a pretty good case now. It was the responsibility of the Republican administration and the Republicans on the committees you chair to blow the whistle instead of their own horn. Well then, thank you for your testimony.
Now, I must rule. It is clearly no accident that the capitalist system in this country has passed away. It seems evident that there was a vast conspiracy between both political parties to commit murder. No, please! I will not accept a plea of negligent manslaughter. I find that the government acted in a bipartisan manner as a hit man paid by the very entities they were to assassinate.
Yes, I rule the death a suicide. Capitalism died because of greed that permeated every area of our society. It died the death of a vampire so gluttonous for blood that it fed upon itself. It died with a full belly and empty veins.
And now you must excuse me, I have been called to break up a fight between two candidates for president. They are arguing violently over which one gets to drive the stake through the heart.

ONE MINUTE EACH NIGHT
I got this in an email from my good cousin in Nashville. I think it is worth passing along and urging participation.
ONE MINUTE EACH NIGHT...
This is the scariest election we as Christians have ever faced. We all need to be on our knees.
Do you believe we can take God at His word? Call upon His name, then stand
back and watch His wonders to behold. His scripture gives us, as Christians, ownership of this land and the ability to call upon God to heal it.
I challenge you to do so. We have never been more desperate than now for God to heal our land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from
heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
During WWII, there was an advisor to Churchill who organized a group of people who dropped what they were doing every night at a prescribed hour for one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England , its people and peace. This had an amazing effect as bombing stopped.
There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here in America, The United States of America and our citizens need prayer more than ever!!
If you would like to participate: each evening at 9:00 PM Eastern Time, 8:00 PM Central, 7:00 PM Mountain, 6:00 PM Pacific, stop whatever you are doing and spend one minute praying for the safety of the United States , our troops, our citizens, for peace in the world, for wisdom and courage for our leaders, the up-coming election, and that the Bible will remain the basis for the laws governing our land and that Christianity will grow in the U.S.
If you know anyone who would like to participate, please pass this along.
Someone said if people really understood the full extent of the power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless. Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have. Thank You

LISTEN TO ANNIE
Finally, someone has asked the question I have so wanted to hear asked. It’s my gal Annie – I have a crush on her insightful brilliance and oozing sarcasm. Of course I’m talking about Ann Coulter.
On FOX News this morning she asked the question: what did Bill Ayers see in Barack Obama? Everyone is trying to figure out whether Obama has said anything to indicate that he agrees with Ayers positions or has taken political counsel from Ayers. Everyone who loves America that is, lefties just give Obama a pass on this as well as everything else. Well there doesn’t seem to be a smoking gun. Obama is pretty careful about what he says and he is expert at covering his tracks.
I think the whole issue has been approached from the wrong end. Ann’s question is the pertinent one. What did Ayers see in Obama that prompted him to appoint Obama to the chair of his newly created Chicago Annenberg Challenge? Why did Ayers open his home to launch Obama’s political career?
Is Ayers so politically naïve that he has inadvertently supported the career of a politician with whom he has a fundamental difference of philosophy? Did Obama deceive Ayers as to what his own political philosophy is? Are they at odds over their political goals? I don’t think so.
So what is Ayers political philosophy? He summed it up in 1970, “Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that’s where it’s really at.” (And this preposition dangler teaches English?) So, Ayers wants a violent revolution in America. He himself, and his dear wife, actively participated in the violence, setting bombs and provoking others to murderous acts.
According to Obama, that was then and this is now. Obama was just a child when Ayers said these things, so it’s okay. But Obama wasn’t a child in 2001 when Ayers said he regretted not having done more bombings. What is the statute of limitations on terrorism anyway? Will Osama be respectable in thirty years? Will some University spend your money and mine to hire him as a professor of Middle Eastern Studies? Will he open his home to an aspiring young politician for a fund raiser? Maybe he’ll start a madrasah in Chicago and appoint a future president of the former United States as the Chairman of the Board.
For me there is no statute of limitations on those who hate my beloved country. I have sat on many boards, have chaired some, been an executive officer of several; in each and every case, I was chosen because I was in essential agreement with the mission and world-view of the organization, and I recommended others for board positions based on the same criteria. Never have I, nor ever would I, sit on the board of an organization that could find common ground with a despicable human being such as terrorist Ayers. Yes Obama, as you have consitently said, his acts were despicable, but you miss the point, HE IS DESPICABLE Barack Obama; too despicable to associate with. Guilt by association you say? Absolutely! If you wallow in manure, you stink.
I want no associate of William Ayers anywhere near the white house. If Ayers approves of him, if some organization finds common ground with both of them, let them rot in infamy together. For the sake of all that is holy, decent, democratic and American, vote against the ascension of Ayer’s buddy Barack to the highest office in this free country.
Thank you Annie, for asking the pertinent question. What does Ayers see in Obama?

DO THE MATH
Hillbillies has a ‘vantage when it comes t’ ‘rithmatic, cuz they most generally can count double whut city fellers can, seein’s how they’s unencumbered by shoes. That there is how come this ol’ hillbilly decided t’ major in mathematics when he went t’ college way back in th’ Kennedy years. Even earned a livin’ doin thet sorta thing fer a while. I loved programatin’ compooters – that uz before a feller c’d go inta the office store an’ buy ‘is programs ready made up jus’ like them froze biskits at the sooper market.
So I thought how as I’d apply all that eddicashun t’ solvin’ this here eeconomical crisis. It all started with me rememberin’ th’ ol’ hillbilly joke ‘bout the city feller what stopped by the field where a farmer wuz plowin up th’ ground behind a ol’ mule. City feller sez, “say ploughboy, how far is it to Little Rock?” Farmer feller he looks this dude up an’ down real good, points down the road an’ sez, “’bought forty lengths of a fool – whyn’cha lay down an’ measure it?”
So that got me t’ thinkin’ ‘bout the length of a fool an’ I scrambled ‘round an’ found out that the average congress person is a hunnert an’ sebenty five sinner meters – I tried t’ do th’ conversion, but even with the he’p of a raft a good preachers we couldn’ bring ‘er about.
Anyhow, I ain’t fer sure how fur we are from getting’ t’ the end a this mess but if my math’s right, we could lay out them 435 congress persons end unto end an’ be a lot closer to a solution.

THE POISONED POND
The candidates tell four kinds of lies – maybe more but I’ll deal with four. The first kind are what Huckleberry Finn called “stretchers” and all four – Obama, Mc Cain, Biden, and Palen, tell this kind of lie. They take a grain of truth about themselves or their opponents and puff it up with lies.
The second kind are the Gabby Hayes variety. They are similar to the first kind except that these lies are wholly made up. They are of the sort people tell in bull sessions: “yeah charlie, I was right there when the Bambino hit number sixty – I can show you the ball.” I can’t remember any of this variety that Mc Cain has told, or Palen either for that matter. Obama on the other hand has told us that the banking committee is “my committee.” He’s told others too. Biden tells us he was shot at in Afghanistan – yeah Joe, there must of been thunder in that snowstorm.
The third kind are lies of ignorance. Maybe we shouldn’t call them lies, since the tellers believe them to be true, the lie is in the pretense that these people are knowledgeable on the subject about which they speak. I’m sure that by this time someone studying for their citizenship test has told our Harvard graduate that there are actually only fifty states – not fifty-seven or fifty-eight. Maybe his Acorn people are overcharging him for election rigging.
I would also suspect that some home-schooler has informed the education guru from the University of Delaware that FDR was first elected president in 1932, three years after Joe had him on Television – which, for any practical purpose didn’t exist in 1929 or 1932. Joe gets a pass from pundits on these things because they have known for a long time that he’s just plain dumb. Don’t get me wrong, Mc Cain and Palen have also had their flashes of less than brilliance.
Call me cynical if you will, but I have come to expect and accept these lies from politicians. I also accept that they promise things they can’t and won’t deliver when elected. I put no confidence in political boasts and political promises.
But there is another sort of lie that is told and it is neither universal nor easily accepted – at least by me. That is the cover-up lie. Obama is guilty of a very serious cover-up lie.
When the issue of his relationship with William Ayers was first introduced, Obama passed it off casually by saying that Ayers was just someone who happened to live on his street and that they were not ‘close’. That was a lie. We now know that when Ayers created the Chicago Annenberg Challenge he turned to Barack Obama to be the chairman. It is surely impossible for the most credulous fool to believe Ayers didn’t know Obama well and that he did not have confidence that Obama was of like mind with him in political matters. Come on people! Surely you’re smarter than Joe Biden.
Nobody can possibly be so stupid as to believe that Ayers did not consider Obama a fellow traveler with him when he sponsored a fund-raising event for him. And unless you think Obama is as dumb as his running mate you can’t possibly believe he didn’t know Ayers’ history and the fact that he has never changed his mind – he still wants to overthrow the government of the United States, he has merely laid aside the bombs in favor of his Manchurian Candidate.
Why did Obama lie about Ayers? A prosecutor would call the lie “consciousness of guilt.” It was a cover-up, an attempt to hide a fact which he knew reveals something about him that all his promises and high sounding rhetoric cannot hide. To be generous, we now know that Obama is a political radical – a dangerous radical – one who can wink at acts of political terrorism, pass them off as matters lost in the past. At worst, he is a man with an agenda that should make us shudder.
When faced with the facts of his relationship with Ayers, Obama says it’s just “guilt by association” – you bet your Acorns it is. His surrogates immediately say, “yeah but Mc Cain was implicated in the Keating Five scandal.” (Okay, I’ll trade you one Tony Rezco for your Charles Keating, you still owe me one terrorist and one racist madman.) These answers are almost as alarming as the facts they are intended to cover up. Consider this: Obama and his people see no difference between acts of political terrorism against the United States, acts that resulted in murder: and the Keating financial scandal (also ignoring the fact that Mc Cain was exonerated by the Democrat prosecutor).
I am deeply frustrated by the fact that, in the aftermath of 9/11 people are tolerant of terrorism in the United States. Tolerant to the point of voting for a political crony of a terrorist for the highest office in the land. Yes, I know Ayers is endorsed by supposedly respected institutes of higher learning, but we have already seen the real product of those institutions – they don’t care whether their graduates know any facts, just so they march in lockstep with the radical political agendas of the institutions – God help America.
When one looks objectively at the people who support and influence Obama and the organizations, such as Acorn, which he supports and influences one gets a real look at the policies of the hidden man. He is like a pond; the water that flows into it is poisoned, the water that flows out is poisoned, but we are asked to believe that the pond itself is pure and wholesome. If we drink the water we shall learn, all too late and all too painfully, that the pond is poisoned too.

Walking the Wall
Without a lot of details – the statute of limitations may not have expired – I’ll tell of the foolishness of childhood. There was a place where a narrow wall connected two buildings. The wall was about fifteen feet high and I have no idea why it was built in the first place; it seemed like a waste of brick and mortar.
However, for reasons of their own - reasons better not discussed here - three boys, two twelves and a thirteen, were in the habit of crossing over on top of this wall. Beneath the wall on either side was a hard cement pavement. Those were the days when adrenalin addiction was fed by personal experience rather than frantically manipulating colored shadows through imaginary threats. A fall from the wall could have really meant “game over.”
The three boys had all learned balance beam skills on the tops of fences. They had learned by failures and successes that when one walks a fence or the top of a wall, one doesn’t pay attention to what’s on one side or the other, one fixes the eyes on the end of the fence or the roof of a building at the end of the wall.
What, one may ask, does this have to do with politics? I write this in an effort to explain one of the candidates for president. Radio talk show hosts, Republican and conservative (the two are not necessarily synonymous), are frantically urging John Mc Cain to take a stand on the economy, to fight back, to expose the culpability of Democrats and, more importantly, to expose how failed liberal ideology is the driving force behind the present credit crisis. What the talkers fail to take into account is that John Mc Cain is a fence walker. He isn’t looking at liberalism or conservatism, he’s looking at the end of the fence.
We may complain about ideology-driven politics, but the fact of the matter is that without an ideology to set one’s course the only destination is the end of the fence. Mc Cain likes to boast of being a maverick, of reaching across the aisle to Democrats – very liberal Democrats – to pass liberal bills. Then he claims to be a conservative. The boys on the wall would understand. When you’re about to stagger right you wave the left hand to reestablish balance, when you’re about to stagger left, you wave the right hand, but the real goal is to go neither right nor left.
Mc Cain has taken firm stands on some issues: the war and the abortion issue for example – he has also taken a firm stand on limiting free speech via Mc Cain / Feingold. But when it comes to the economy, which is after all the real rudder that will turn the ship of state either toward socialism or freedom, Mc Cain keeps his eye on some distant point that he imagines to be somewhere between the two.
Obama on the other hand, is ideology-driven. I shudder when I think of what I believe that ideology to actually be. To be the least alarmist let us say he is driven to turn us to the left, toward socialism. He’s getting plenty of assistance from Congress – Democrat crooks and Republican fools are hurrying to help him turn the wheel.
But I am not writing about Obama, I’m writing about Mc Cain. He has said he doesn’t understand economics – he tells the truth. He doesn’t understand and he obviously doesn’t trust conservatives to educate him on the subject. I think he doesn’t consciously adopt the philosophies of John Maynard Keynes, the man who inspired the end of the gold standard in America and started us on a decades-long game of monopoly, but he has just cast a very Keynesian vote for a very Keynesian bill. Well, the game may be over and when the board is folded you can’t buy bread with monopoly money.
When Mc Cain has fallen off his fence he has landed in someone’s yard – Republican sometimes Democrat at others – but now he’s on a high wall that firmly separates right from left. When he falls he’s going to be hurt. Please John, look over there, conservatives have lifted a ladder for you – please come down before you fall.
